Privacy Policy

Dixon Environmental Associates, Inc. (hereinafter "Dixon Environmental", "We", "Us", or "Our") has created this Web Site Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Privacy Policy") in order to inform You (hereinafter "You", "Your", or "Yourself") as a user of the Site of the circumstances under which We collect information and data from You.   This Privacy Policy also serves to inform You about the circumstances under which We will release information about You to third parties.   By using the Site and accessing the content contained within it, You agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.  Types of Information Collected

a.   Traffic Data Collected.  Dixon Environmental automatically gathers general statistical information about visitors to the Site.  Accordingly, Dixon Environmental may automatically track and collect certain technical information from You when You visit the Site. 2.  Use of Information Collected
Dixon Environmental may use Traffic Data to improve Our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyze Site usage, to improve Our content and product and service offerings and to customize Our Site's content, laYout, and services.  We may also use Traffic Data to help diagnose problems with Our server, to manage Our Website and to enhance Our Site based on the usage pattern data We receive.  Dixon Environmental may use Contact Data to send You information about Dixon Environmental, its meetings, products and services, or promotional material from our sponsors (e.g. SOCMA).  We may also use Your Personal Information to deliver information to You that, in some cases, is targeted to Your interests, such as new services and promotions.  We may also ask You to provide Us voluntarily with additional information regarding Your personal or business interests, experience or requests which We may use to customize Our services for You.  Dixon Environmental may use the Contact Information to contact You when  necessary or to advise You regarding upcoming meetings, new product and service offerings and communications relevant to Your use of the Site.  Dixon Environmental may use Your Demographic Data to customize and tailor Your experience on the Site, displaying content that Dixon Environmental thinks You might be interested in and according to Your preferences.


3.  Disclosure of Information To Third Parties
Dixon Environmental may disclose Traffic Data to third parties.  Dixon Environmental may share Demographic Data with our sponsors.


4.  Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information
Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, Dixon Environmental will keep Your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect Our rights or property; or (c) enforce Our Terms of Service.  Your Personal Information is stored on secure servers that are not accessible by third parties.

Dixon Environmental employs reasonable and current security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information.  Your account information and profile are password-protected.  We require that You do not divulge Your password to anyone.  Our personnel will never ask You for Your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited e-mail. 5.     Data Collection From Children
Dixon Environmental does not knowingly collect any information from children.


6.  Other Limits to Your Privacy
The Site contains links to other web sites.   Dixon Environmental is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.  Dixon Environmental may also make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and news groups available to You.  Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information. Dixon Environmental has no control over its use and You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose Your Personal Information.


7. Additional Terms
You further agree that any data You submit in connection with registration for the Site and any other content You upload, post, email or otherwise transmit to or via the Site may be used by Dixon Environmental to update information in its contact databases, for marketing purposes and in connection with providing You with materials and that such information, including Your identity may be disclosed to the sponsors, suppliers and licensors of the Site.  You acknowledge and agree that Dixon Environmental and its sponsors, suppliers and licensors may preserve content and may also disclose content if required to do so by law or if, in their good faith belief, such preservation or disclosure is necessary or appropriate including, for example, to (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce this Privacy Policy; (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Dixon Environmental, its sponsors, suppliers, licensors, users and the public.

In the event that Dixon Environmental sells all or substantially of its assets related to the Site, You agree to the transfer of any information submitted by You to the purchasing entity subject to the restrictions contained within this Privacy Policy.


8. EMAIL AND SURVEYS

8.1 If You indicate on Your registration form that You want to receive such information, Dixon Environmental, its owners and assigns, will allow certain third party vendors to provide You with information about products and services.

8.2 Dixon Environmantal reserves the right to send electronic mail to You for the purpose of informing You of changes or additions to the Service.

8.3 Dixon Environmental may contact You via e-mail regarding Your participation in user surveys, asking for feedback on the website and existing or prospective products and services. This information will be used to improve our website and better understand our users.  This information may be shared with our subscribers, sponsors and licensors.


9.  Updates and Changes to Privacy Policy
Dixon Environmental reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, simply by posting such change, update or modification on the Site.  Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site and Your continued use of the Site will constitute acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.

10 Section Titles

10.1  The section titles in the Subscriber Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

11. Limitation of Third Party Beneficiaries.
This Agreement is made and entered into for the sole legal protection and benefit of Dixon Environmental and You and Your successors and permitted assigns, and no other person shall be the direct or indirect beneficiary of, or have any direct or indirect cause of action or claim in connection with, this Privacy Policy except that Dixon Environmental's sponsors, supplies and licensors, including without limitation, SOCMA, shall be third party beneficiaries hereof with the full right to enforce any provisions applicable to them and any protections afforded to them hereunder.
